So many magazines, so many dresses, which one is right for you? We have put together a guide to help you choose the dress that fits your shape perfectly. So find the shape below that matches your body shape and see what style will work best for you. Don’t panic if you're still not sure - come and see one of our experienced team in store, and they will be able to advise you.

The Hourglass
Tall or short, slim or curvy, Ms Hourglass has an enviable figure. With bust and hips in proportion and a wonderfully narrow waist, she can pull off a number of styles.
Hourglass ladies look fantastic in dresses that accentuate their wonderfully feminine curves. A beautiful, sheath dress, or an elegant fishtail dress will show off those curves and suit both the slim and curvy hourglasses. A sweetheart neckline shows off the bust area and Ms Hourglass can wear the belted 50’s designs that few other shapes can pull off. Sometimes, Ms Hourglass can feel slightly conscious of the hip area. If this is the case, a gentle A-line skirt will skim the hips and a corseted bodice will cinch in that narrow waist.
Ms Hourglass should avoid empire line dresses as these will accentuate the hip area and hide the waist - and why hide such a lovely waist?

The Pear
Ms Pear has a heavier bottom half and slim upper torso. With curvy thighs and bum and narrow shoulders Ms Pear needs a dress that will skim over the hip area and accentuate the waist and bust to balance the shape.
Empire lines will give the bust area definition whilst skimming over the hip area and A-lines will give a defined waist whilst flowing over the hips and balancing the shape. Ms Pear should avoid dresses with detailing on the hip areas as this will draw attention and instead go for delicate detailing around the bust. A corset will help cinch in the waist.

The Apple
With a shapely lower half and legs and a wider torso, bust and waist, Ms Apple could consider dresses that are tea length or have a subtle split and show off those fab legs.
Ms Apple could wear an empire line dress which shows off that wonderful bust and balances out the smaller hips and bum. A-line dresses that cinch in at the waist will help give Ms Apple a beautiful hourglass shape and balance out the heavier top half of the body. Avoid too much detail around the bust and waist as this will only accentuate theses areas and instead draw attention down with gentle detail around the hip line and skirt.

The Athletic
Ms Athletic tends to be tall and slim with a straight figure. With less curves, Ms Athletic should go for dresses that will add curves in all the right places
Ms Athletic should go for a dress that will add curves to the waist and bust and the illusion of a waist. Narrow slim fitting dresses with corseted bodices will cinch in the waist area and give curves whilst a full ball gown skirt will add curves to the hip area. A halter dress will show off beautifully toned shoulders. Detailing on the skirt and bust will help add shape to Ms Athletics’ slim figure.
